NOTE: Hours of work includes weekday, weekends, day and evening shifts.  ensure the safe, clean, effective & Customer service Reporting directly to the Arena Operations Supervisor, the successful candidates will work with other staff to ensure the safe, clean, effective & efficient operation of the NAIT arena and other recreation facilities. Key Responsibilities: Supervision of the arenaspace & adjacent areas/facilities Zamboni & ice edger operation& minor maintenance Regular dailymaintenance of the ice surface & rink board system Keeping daily logs onequipment & operation General cleaning of thearena & adjacent areas/facilities Assisting in the setupor takedown of scheduled events in all the recreation facilities. Compliance with opening/ closingpolicies Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of arena operations & maintenance methods,techniques and practices Working knowledge of Zamboni / ice edger operation &maintenance Customer serviceskills Ability to lift & move heavy items Problemsolving skills Qualifications: Grade 12 diploma 1 year of experience in arena operations Valid class 5 driver’slicense Experience driving a Zamboni is an asset Valid firstaid & CPRcertificates Remuneration : $23.20- $29.02 per hour plus 12% in lieu of statutory holidays and vacation pay.
