Kelly’s hiring! We are currently recruiting for our client located in Thornhill, ON for a Bilingual Payroll & Benefits Specialist. This is an ongoing opportunity that could lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.What You Will Do: Processing timely and accurate payroll for 650 Canadian employees. Partner across HR community on projects, initiatives and promoting Workday Direct Access. Maintain and process Pension Benefits and coordinate with any Benefits vendors to ensure employee benefits are activated and managed according to benefit plans and policies. Manage the payroll vendor in line with input and approvals and to ensure timely approvals and payments. Partnering with finance on payment of salaries and all relevant payroll payments and reporting. Have a continuous improvement mindset to support further effective and efficient changes to HR processes, procedures and controls. Administration and coordination between HR Operations and Payroll Vendor (BPO provider) to ensure flow and maintenance of employee data (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports. Ad-hoc duties as per HR transformation and requirements.Qualifications/Skills Required: 3-5 years of hands-on full cycle payroll experience. Proven experience in processing payroll for employees in multiple provinces, including Quebec and Ontario. Fluent in English and French. Proficiency with payroll software and systems; experience with Workday is preferred. Ability to comfortably work in a fast-paced time sensitive environment. Curious mind to challenge traditional ways of working, with excellent business acumen to apply your knowledge as required to bring better solutions and insights. Background check will be requiredWhat Is Offered: Pay rate $38.00-$40.00 per hour + vacation pay. Hybrid model: 3 days in office, 2 days work from home.
