Solutions Architect (Site Reliability Engineer) This is with a large IT services firm for a large investment/financial services firm. Candidate must have legal work status for Canada. Client Location is downtown Montreal, QC Hybrid - In-Office 3 days per week. Perm - salary and benefits OR contract - 6 months to start, renewable Market rate Description: Looking for a Solutions Architect with technology solution architecture experience within Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), as well as the ability to lead, influence and communicate with the mindset of an enterprise architect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing solution architectures that enable the future SRE capabilities within the enterprise. They will play a pivotal role in establishing, scaling, and optimizing SRE practices, tools, and capabilities. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with architects, software/data/cloud engineers, and product owners in an agile environment to create solution architecture design for Cloud and On-Premises technology solutions, infrastructure, and tools. Construct architectural artifacts in support of the solution design of robust, reusable, scalable and secure technology solutions leveraging approved component architecture standards, architectural patterns, and reference architectures. Design APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications. Manage stakeholder communication, presenting complex technical concepts in an understandable manner. Service delivery automation architect, transform IT service delivery through a streamlined, secure, and efficient automated service delivery process. Requirements: Five years plus of collective experience in the application of architecture, enterprise roadmaps, analytics, cloud, IT strategies, innovation, agile and waterfall methodologies. Experience with: Architecting, building, and administering complex architectures and SRE technologies. Architecting scalable containerized applications with container orchestration framework.
