Job Title: Senior Project Manager - ConstructionLocation: Richmond, BC (Full-Time, On-Site)Company Overview: We are representing a dynamic and growing construction company specializing in the development and construction of low to mid-rise residential and commercial buildings in Richmond. As both a developer and builder, they manage their projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality standards and attention to detail at every stage.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in developer-led construction projects to oversee the management and execution of low to mid-rise developments. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with developers/builders, strong leadership abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, consultants, trades, and clients.Key Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of the construction project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to post-completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design alignment with project goals.Manage the procurement of materials, trades, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.Lead and mentor project teams, including junior project managers, coordinators, and site supervisors.Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and company policies.Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.Foster strong relationships with municipal authorities, consultants, contractors, and other external partners.Support the companies values of collaboration, transparency, and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications: Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience in low to mid-rise residential/commercial construction, with a strong preference for candidates with a developer/builder background (as opposed to general contracting experience).Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certifications are a plus.Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects concurrently, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations specific to Vancouver.Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and other relevant tools.Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle the challenges of fast-paced construction environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
