Human Resource Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs. This is initially a part time role that could evolve into a full time role. ResponsibilitiesOversee full-cycle of recruitment effortsAssist with benefits administrationMaintain employee handbookAdvise senior management on HR continuous improvements.Produce employment contracts (based off of templates).Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination processAssist with payroll administrationEnsures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal responsibilitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area5+ years' of experience working in Human ResourcesWhen required must be able to work in the office 2-3 days per weekProactive attitude to ensure activities and tasks are performed completely and accuratelyStrong leadership skills to complete objectives and continually improve operationsStrong interpersonal and communication skills
