The Aron Theatre Co-op is a not-for-profit organization that is a historical cultural hub in our community.
We are recruiting for the position of part-time operations manager. This is a key staff position and together with the part-time general manager they are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the theatre.
Operations Manager Qualifications
1. Five years plus experience with movie theatre management and/or operating a small business.
2. Excellent leadership skills and human resources management, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.
3. Sound fiscal management skills and experience managing inventory and cash flow.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of Trent Hills and surrounding communities, including experience in working with local stakeholders.
5. Proven technical skills related to MS Office products and social media.
6. Experience with building maintenance and cleaning.
7. Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively monitor projects through to completion.
8. Established interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to a broad cross-section of the population.
Hours of work:
The position of Operations Manager is part-time (18 to 22 hours per week), with the requirement to be available during regular movie nights (Friday to Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.). As a not-for-profit co-op we do our best to offer fair compensation, and the position pays $22 per hour.
The position will start on August 15 with two weeks of on-the-job training.
