Full Time Physiotherapist

Company:  The Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
Location: Old Toronto
Closing Date: 04-08-2024
Hours: Full Time
Type: Permanent
Job Requirements / Description

Jump into an immediate caseload available at Toronto Physiotherapy! We create an exceptional healthcare experience because we hire exceptional therapists. We are looking for a full-time physiotherapist to fill an orthopaedic role at our Danforth & Chester clinic, available immediately (flexible start date for the right therapist!). Our busy, bright, and easily accessible clinic in the heart of Riverdale/Greektown has a great community reputation and a wonderful team, which we are excited to expand.

Note – there is a dual caseload opportunity for an Orthopaedic & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist should a mixed caseload be of interest, but is not necessary for this role.

Our focus is providing the best care possible for our patients, and creating a rewarding team environment where therapists are excited to come to work, and excited to continue their growth as clinicians. We foster an encouraging and collaborative environment with opportunity for mentorship, case review, and clinical skills sharing with experienced team members. We have a simple equation for creating an exceptional healthcare experience: happy therapists = happy patients.

Our clinic model uses private treatment rooms, one-on-one patient care with a focus on manual therapy (we do not use support staff), 60 min initial assessments / 30 min (or longer) follow-ups, in a modern and attractive environment. As such, our clinics are a big hit with our patients, our referring physicians, and our therapists, and has been since 2007.

Join one of the best physiotherapy teams in Toronto! Meet your teammates and learn more about us at: www.torontophysiotherapy.ca

Attributes, Skills and Experience:

Our ideal candidate would have the following:
-Registered Physiotherapist with > 1 year experience.
-Post-graduate coursework an asset (OrthoDiv or otherwise)
-Complementary coursework in other post-graduate streams an asset (including other advanced manual therapy training, myofascial techniques, IMS/acupuncture, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic certification).
-Professional and polished demeanor, who brings a positive energy to the clinic. A “people-person” who cultivates a nurturing and enjoyable environment for both patients and staff.
-An interest in sharing knowledge and engaging in team-based patient care with our other Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists and Pilates Instructors, and working with an interesting and diverse caseload.

Caseload and Compensation:

We succeed in attracting the best therapists because we offer competitive compensation, and an easy and enjoyable work environment staffed with fantastic therapists and friendly and knowledgeable administrative staff. Contact Lindsay Davey for compensation details and any other questions. Option for Employee or Independent Contractor employment model available.

Please submit resumes to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you!
