The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist is a technical expert responsible for the implementation and optimization of automated written marketing global initiatives for Lightspeed. They will play a key role in supporting the region's needs and ensuring that strategies are optimized based on provided insights.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, coaching, and delegation to Marketing Automation Specialists in all aspects of Email Marketing and in-app messaging.
- Collaborate with our internal stakeholders to orchestrate, oversee, and enhance email campaigns that drive our business objectives.
- Leading the development and execution of email marketing programs, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Efficiently oversee and coordinate across multiple regions and business verticals to ensure timely and relevant communications.
- Develop, launch, and manage operational and marketing messages for leads and existing customers through our website and in-app messaging, utilizing our chat software (Intercom).
- Oversee the utilization and effectiveness of our marketing automation tools, ensuring they are leveraged to their full potential to drive campaign success.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), create detailed reports, and analyze the performance of email campaigns to inform future strategies.
- Manage the email database to ensure full compliance with GDPR, CASL, and other privacy regulations, maintaining the highest data integrity and security standards.
- Work with data sets to create segments, perform queries, and generate reports that enhance campaign targeting and effectiveness.
What you need to bring:
We’re a team of 50 people located in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Our team is responsible for developing and executing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement.
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing automation or email marketing
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining batch messages, automation workflows and triggers with enterprise-level ESPs and CRMs (Pardot, Hubspot, Salesforce, Intercom)
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to partner with key stakeholders in achieving collaborative goals
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
Even nicer if you have:
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and reporting
- Experience working in Tech/SaaS companies
