Construction Project ManagerOur client is a Design Build  and General Contracting firm established to deliver a premium Construction Management experience to our clients above and beyond the typical experience.They specialize in the new construction and renovation of commercial, institutional, and industrial properties.  The company is a relationship-based contractor, and work with their clients from conception to completion to ensure that their expectations and vision are realized.  ResponsibilitiesPlay a key role through all phases of our construction projects, from tender through construction and close-out. Proactively manage project processes and documents, such as project set up, bid packages, subcontract management, drawings, purchase orders, contracts, building permits, change order requests and pricing, request for information (RFIs), request for quotation (RFQs), close out etc.Setup and maintain accurate project information and data in computerized project management system Review shop drawings for scope and accuracy against schedulesLiaise and build relationships with clients, designers and sub-contractorsConduct regular site visits, attend and participate in client and trade meetingsProvide project accounting support – assist with approvals for accounts payable (AP) processing and client invoicing, budgets & estimatesOrganize the project closeout documentation, including; warranties, drawings, manuals, permits etc.Track and communicate regularly with key stakeholders regarding project status and milestonesProvide outstanding service to clients, suppliers and other stakeholders by responding professionally and with a sense of urgency RequirementsSolid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in engineering, design and facility design in complex buildings including labs, pharmaceutical buildings, and critical environmentsWorking Knowledge of process facilities and manufacturing operationsExcellent client-facing and communication skillsUnderstands technical language in engineering construction projects Education & ExperienceA minimum of 5 years Project Management experienceTechnical knowledge/training as a trade professional, engineer, building sciences technology, or facility constructionTheoretical and practical project management knowledgeExperience as a project managerExperience in project planning, risk management and/or change managementProficiency in project management software tools Competencies Critical thinking and problem solvingExcellent decision-making and leadership capabilitiesConflict resolution experienceCompensation- $100-$120KJob ID: #16464427
