We are currently looking for a Sales Steering Analyst at our Corporate Officers in Ajax, ON This exciting new role will support a strategic shift to modernize and build business intelligence and steering framework for the sales dept. at Audi Canada. By providing consultation on advanced analytics and predictive models, this role will enable the team to make strategic decisions on sales opportunities and gaps in both short and long term; and automate sales metrics for the areas of field operations, sales planning, incentives strategy and used car sales. Additionally, this role will be the dept. support for the Audi Canada project office, providing business requirements and direction to project owners in support of modernizing our customer experience through advancements in the digital and physical retail process. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Sales, this role will support in the design of dept strategy and consult on day-to-day business decisions in all sub-departments to increase efficiency and effectiveness.  This is a hybrid flex model, based out of Ajax, ON. Responsibilities: Sales Steering Analysis: 50% Consult with dept management and define data priorities for the greatest ROI. Construct roadmap for automation and predictive models in short and long-term. Top topics for steering will include: Predictive loyalty analysis for payment comparison, model migration, portfolio size and effectiveness of early renewal Sales pace and required pace by area, dealer and model with pipeline overlay for sales/incentives planningNational and regional monthly forecasting predictive modelSales funnel predictive model to provide 90 day forward model metrics on leading upper-funnel KPIs (new and CPO) In collaboration with dept management, define top 10 metrics for national and regional sales steering and build dept daily dept. scorecard, consolidating existing historic reports for inventory, order intake, reported sales, wholesales and pace. Closely collaborate with overall Audi data strategy team within Business Development and Digital NAR. Represent department as member of the Data Science Community. Dedicated field operations consult to provide regional steering insights for market share and carline opportunities as well as forecast intelligence via web analytics, pipeline and pace on a regional level.  Lead Support field sales action plan and accountability process for under-performing stores as well as liaise and integrate plans with the business development performance escalation process. Construct and provide automated regional forecast tools/forms on a monthly/weekly basis. Optimize and develop sales funnel in collaboration with marketing team to provide dept direction on gaps and opportunities in retail traffic, leads and conversion. Use insights for mgmt. recommendations on customer experience and transactional opportunities. Provide CPO and field team with monthly insights for strategic opportunities including portfolio, web analytics and inventory strategy. This should include web analytics; total and carline level supply; auction, profit and recon insights and change of ownership opportunities for share. Develop measures for corporate sales programs to be implemented within the regions/target businesses based on industry insights and identified opportunities.  Strategic Projects: 15% Audi Canada project support for modernizing vehicle ETA system within NAR organization e-commerce: Support priority sequence for functionality based on business requirements for best UX and highest business ROI. Define and provide business rules to support customer experience strategy. Dept Strategy: 35% Support Sr. Director in construction and documentation of annual dept. strategy and management of accountability and adjustments at weekly management meetings. Manage planning and preparation for two annual field operations strategy meetings. Lead review and recommendations with insights.  Leadership and organization of monthly sales meeting to review insights and provide recommendations and adjustments to forward plans. Key stakeholder in management of annual sales operations and marketing conference to implement yearly strategy within the retail network. Administrative management for bi-annual Business Performance Dialogue meeting, including content steering for sales operations. Preparation for VGCA Monthly Operations Meeting Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Sales and/or equivalent work experience 3+ years automotive industry experience within sales and marketing, retail and/or OEM Champion of diversity, equity and inclusion Strong understanding of OEM and Dealership sales operations Data driven mindset with understanding of drivers and KPIs for retail ops and digital customer experience (web analytics) Highly analytical with proven track record of implementing insights to effect change and positive business outcomes. Excellent organizational and project management skills In-depth awareness of benchmark trends in customer experience and expectations In-depth awareness of leading technologies which facilitate premium interactions and exchange between business and customer Ability to effectively manage project implementation in a methodical, focused manner. This requires strong change management skills.
