In this role, you'll be working with a diverse portfolio of single-family mortgages, ensuring smooth and efficient servicing for both borrowers and internal stakeholders.You’ll excel in this role if you have a sharp eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to consistently deliver top-notch service. From document preparation to client follow-ups and delivering exceptional customer service, your contributions will be vital to our mortgage administration process.Their responsibilities will include:Spearheading all post-funding activities, from account administration to renewals and discharges, ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction.Proactively addressing client and broker requests for crucial documents like information statements, payout statements, and discharge documents.Contributing to monthly departmental reporting efforts, providing valuable insights and contributing to the team's success.Establishing the initial setup and maintenance of mortgage records and crafting precise payment schedules for clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Safeguarding collateral loans against potential risks, meticulously ensuring compliance with lender standards and conducting annual insurance policy renewals.Leveraging mortgage software to efficiently process loan renewals, ensuring all renewal documents are received and aligned with regulatory compliance.Preparing detailed annual statements and audit confirmations.Thoroughly reviewing legal documents for loan closings, ensuring regulatory compliance.Ensuring property taxes on mortgaged loans remain up-to-date, mitigating risks and maintaining compliance.Managing workload effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company's funding procedures, legal guidelines, and available resources, staying ahead of industry developments and best practices.About The PerksCompetitive compensation package.Comprehensive benefits package - including Employee Share Purchase Plan.Opportunity for professional growth - collaborating with and learning from an established team of industry leaders.Exclusive access to a variety of industry events that will provide enriching networking opportunities.About YouCompletion of a University degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.3-5 years of mortgage servicing or other relevant experience.Knowledge of interest rates and an understanding of loan structures is preferred.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Committed to continuous learning and professional development.Effective presentation, communication (verbal, written), and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and solve complex problems.Highly motivated, proactive, and team-oriented, with a commitment to excellence.Strong analytical and financial acumen.Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and organizational proficiency.Familiarity with real estate and/or lending is an assetAbout The CompanyCanadian Mortgage Capital Corporation (CMCC) is a market leading provider of debt and equity financing to the residential and commercial real estate and development communities in major urban centres across Canada.
