SEA-DOO Mechatronics Project Engineer

As a member of the Engineering team and reporting to the Project Manager, the Sea-Doo R&D Mechatronics Integrator's main mandate is to lead the design, development and validation of systems for a recreational vehicle product line.  YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Coordinate the development of new vehicle functions for the various vehicle control modules; Perform physical validation of vehicles to confirm technical solutions, taking into account established norms and standards, as well as test plans; Collaborate with design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams; Develop technical requirements, electrical diagrams and electrical systems engineering specifications; Guide the work of technicians/designers to meet development objectives; Resolve production and networking issues and follow up with suppliers. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering or equivalent; Good understanding and ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software and mechanical principles; Initiative, autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility; Fluency in French; Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and to innovate; Experience with Catia/SmarTeam, CRETA and INCA software (an asset); Manual and motor dexterity to perform electrical repairs and physical tests on water; Available to travel occasionally.
