Job Description Lead the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Analyze, summarize, and communicate monthly internal financial reports and financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial activities, such as month-end and year-end closing processes. Complete complex accounting-related activities (consolidation, report building, journal entries, reviews) Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, performance enhancement strategies, and areas of financial risk. Work closely with Business Unit (BU) partners to understand their business, help them understand their financial drivers, and challenge their assumptions. Participating in various continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce the production cycle time of financial information. Qualifications University degree in accounting or finance. Pursuing a CPA designation, an asset 5+ years of accounting experience. Excellent knowledge of Excel. Experience leading a team, an asset Autonomy, attention to detail, analytical skills, and a sense of responsibility.
