Senior Frontend Developer

The project is highly ambitious, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with a passion for creating pixel-perfect interfaces and translating comprehensive designs into interactive and responsive UIs, with a great understanding of API integration.You will be expected to deliver a fully functioning, pixel-perfect dashboard within 3 months, working closely with our CTO and back-end team to integrate all APIs and optimize for performance. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys seeing the results of their hard work materialize quickly.This role offers ownership of the entire front-end process, from implementing the user interface to optimizing performance and ensuring seamless integration with the back-end.What the job entails:Take full ownership of the frontend development for a very complex and intricate SaaS platform.Implement the fully designed Figma dashboard with pixel-perfect precision using modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue.js, TypeScript).Collaborate closely with the back-end team to integrate API endpoints and ensure seamless user experience.Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of all web applications.Maintain clean and reusable code with a focus on best practices for frontend architecture.Proactively identify potential roadblocks in the user experience and propose solutions to overcome them.Work with other developers, participating in code reviews, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.Technical requirements:5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React, Next.js, or Vue.js.Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, and responsive web design.Proven experience in taking Figma designs or similar and translating them into fully functional web applications.Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Vuex), and component-based design.Strong understanding of HTTP APIs. Experience with API integration, and working closely with back-end teams.Experience with front-end APMs such as New RelicFamiliarity with performance optimization techniques for large-scale web applications.Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelinesNon-technical requirements:3+ years of experience leading frontend projects or working independently on large-scale applications.Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and setting realistic timelines.A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering pixel-perfect UIs.Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively with back-end engineers and stakeholders.Independent problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.Experience working in start-up environments and comfortable with fast-paced changes.Benefits:Comprehensive health coverage including dental, vision, and more.Vacations: 4 weeks of paid vacation.Compensation: Starting salary of $105,000 CAD, with increases based on performance.
