Job Description
Design and analyse structural systems for mining facilities and hydroelectric plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate structural integrity and recommend necessary retrofits.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Participate in business development.
Perform quality control for the work of engineers and drafters.
Assess client satisfaction and maintain close, harmonious relations with the client or their representatives.
Coordinate on-site work of contractors and supervise the work.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree is an asset.
- At least 10 years of experience or in progress.
- Available to visit our clients (20% to 40% of the time on a yearly basis).
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in technical writing.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit).
