Our client, a large-scale 3PL is looking for a pricing analyst to drive pricing excellence through market analysis. This is a permanent and fully onsite position. The best and fastest way to get a response is to submit your updated resume to [email protected] with a message referring to this post.AdvantagesJoin a leading service provide in logistics and supply chain industryOpportunity to learn and be a game changerExcellent career progression and in charge of transformation projectResponsibilitiesSupport sales team by pricing quotes for warehousing, LTL, TL transportation, and parcel deliveries.Maintain up-to-date customer pricing and tariffs, considering business changes, currency rate fluctuations, and rate increases.Lead pricing for major RFPs, coordinating with sales, operations, BI teams, and sister companies.Assist in drafting solutions for large proposals involving milk runs, hub and spoke, routes, and network optimization.Improve quote process/costing models by standardizing templates, eliminating manual work, and automating workflows.Develop and maintain pricing models, tools, and databases for data-driven pricing decisions.Analyze industry trends, economic indicators, competition, regulatory changes, and external factors' impact on pricing.Identify cost drivers and areas for cost improvements and efficiency gains.Develop and maintain pricing strategy to enhance win percentage on spot quotes, RFPs, etc.Assess profitability and contribution margin by terminal/warehouse, customer, lanes to support decision-making.Assist Customer Success Manager in customer segmentation by providing inputs on customer profitability.Use customer segmentation to build unique/custom pricing models for improved response time, accuracy, and profitability.Analyze data and report trends on volume, turns, margin, revenue/pallet, cost per mile, asset utilization, etc.Identify opportunities to improve labor productivity and asset utilization to lower costs and improve margins.Qualifications2+ years of experience in Logistics/3PL/Supply Chain operations.Experience in pricing LTL, TL, warehousing, courier/final mile opportunities.Skills in reading, evaluating, synthesizing, and formulating solutions to complex RFPs.Proficiency in Excel, working knowledge of SQL, and data analysis tools preferred.Background in Procurement, Dispatching, Strategic Sourcing, Business/Data Analysis, Supply Chain/Network Optimization preferred.Familiarity with warehouse and transportation management systems, routing applications, Labor Management Systems preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Finance, or Supply Chain field preferred.SummaryOur client, a large-scale 3PL is looking for a pricing analyst to drive pricing excellence through market analysis.
