Primary Objective: Demonstrate an expert knowledge of Peripheral Vascular Disease, End-Stage Renal Disease, and Congenital/Structural Heart Pathophysiology, along with a working knowledge of other business unit product lines. Build on that knowledge to support the sales and marketing team in providing clinical support and clinical evaluation of products at the customer level.Duties and Responsibilities : Contribute to the development of the business in top regional accounts through clinical relationships and expertise. Prepare the training resources for new-hire onboarding and provide ongoing training to sales team members and marketing on clinical objection handling on top customer objections. Coordination with Sales & Marketing on clinical education programs and product education, including clinical study/paper reviews. Act as a clinical expert, providing ongoing clinical input and leadership to field sales and marketing as input into strategy, marketing messaging, collateral, and training. Educate and support customers at all levels and in key strategic accounts, including clinicians (nurses, administrators, purchasing, physicians), patients, caregivers, and product end users. Assist with developing clinical case studies and clinical customers interested in producing posters, white papers and journal articles as directed. On-going knowledge of market activity and competitive products and programs is essential.Skills Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. English is required; French is an assetEducation/Qualifications: You hold a master’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related field. Previous RN (BSCN) designation or health-related background Knowledge in vascular and cardiac science and disease processes. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a sales trainer or clinical specialist in a medical device or related company. You have experience and an advanced understanding of the healthcare delivery system. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide sales representatives constructive feedback and customize and individualize your approach to achieve the highest possible success. You are self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Experience using sales enablement tools, such as Salesforce, is advantageous. Working Conditions: Working primarily out of the office, the Incumbent could spend significant time travelling in the field in Canada and the US. May have to work some evenings & weekends. Travel required for this position could transition to approximately 50% of the individual’s time. A valid passport and the ability to travel to the United States of America to complete the mandatory vendor training certification program are required.
