Software Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:Design and implement testing software to validate embedded softwareDesign and implement test cases for video, audio and broadcasting productsImplement test cases via writing automation test scripts in Python or other programming languagesMaintain the test framework for systems being tested on Windows and LinuxGenerate tickets and follow-up with defects tracked using a project management database (JIRA) in an agile environmentAssist with the setup and emulation of customer systemsCreate load/stress testing scripts, tools and processesLearn to review test script run results where the results show fails and investigate the fails to figure out the source of the errors and fix themDeploy testing package into the production line while collaborating with manufacturingRequirements/Skills:Solid programming and debugging skills in Python and JavaScript (ES6)Theoretical knowledge of software testing; able to write test requirements, test specification, test cases and test results.Familiar with testing platform such as TestRail, and testing tools: Selenium, pytest etc.Results oriented, self-motivated, able to do root cause analysis of an issue and a team playerKnowledge of networking and ability to configure IP-based systemsAdditional Skills and experience that will be useful:Knowledge of RESTful API’sKnowledge of TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.jsKnowledge of video / audio and broadcasting and their applicationsKnowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS etc.)Qualifications:At least Bachelor degree in Software/Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceMinimum of 1 years of testing experienceExcellent verbal and written communication and proven interpersonal skillsWhat we Offer:Employer funded benefits programCompetitive total compensation packageWork-life balanceEmployee Assistance planEmployee Discount PlatformCareer progressionCasual work environmentSocial events and sports teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
