With assets over $1 billion, not including vast land holdings, IRC is responsible for corporate investment, land management, and a broad range of social, cultural, and economic programs and services benefiting Inuvialuit.JOB SUMMARYAs a Strategy Analyst, you will support the Director of Strategy & Value Creation. This position offers exposure to managing existing companies and contributing to IDC’s long-term strategy and investment thesis. We seek a dynamic individual able to bridge strategy, operations, and finance. The ideal candidate is a beneficiary of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement, reflecting our commitment to empowering our community.ACCOUNTABILITIESConduct rigorous market analysis to evaluate ideal areas for investment opportunities.Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with IDC’s goals and Inuvialuit interests.Support management in monitoring operational and financial performance of portfolio companies.Prepare and present analytical reports and recommendations to senior management.Build comprehensive financial models and conduct thorough financial analysis.Play a role in M&A activities, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration.Integrate risk management to support decision making.Support critical ad hoc projects throughout ICG.QUALIFICATIONSCompleted a degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.Minimum two years experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or similar roles.Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.Robust analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.Hands-on experience building financial models in Excel.Familiarity with financial statements and experience conducting financial analysis.Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.Eagerness to learn and adaptability based on shifting priorities.Understanding of Inuvialuit history and culture and interest in Northern economic development.Preference may be given to candidates with knowledge and experience with data visualization tools.TO APPLYPlease submit your resume and cover letter by pressing the Apply for This Job button at the top right of the web page.
