Primary responsibilities are to build and install iron or steel girders, columns, and other construction materials to form buildings and other structures.Duties and Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):Rigging and hoisting components into position with crawler or hydraulic cranesWorking from mobile elevated work platforms ( boom lifts or scissor lifts)Working on the structure itself at heightsReading and interpreting blueprints and drawingsFollowing all safety requirements of both the company and the project siteReporting any unsafe working conditionsMust have reliable transportationExperience with self framing or rigid framing building erection preferredRequirements:2+ Years ExperienceStrong mechanical skills neededStrong attention to detailWork safely within the protocols of OH&S and Makloc’s safety cultureComfortable working with heights up to 40 feetMust be willing to work in and around the Edmonton area and out-of-town when requiredConstruction experience considered an assetAWP, Fall Protection, CSTS tickets preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
