About the RoleWe're looking for a Director, SMB Post Sales - Canada who will oversee our account teams nationwide across our merchant segment. You will report directly to our Senior Director in our Post Sales/Merchant Management organization, driving our merchant retention and growth strategy. You will oversee the Account Management and Development business. You will sit on our Canadian Leadership team alongside our market management, finance, and Enterprise sales leaders. As the leader of the Canadian team, you will develop our strategic advantage: winning and growing the top merchants across the country. You will lead a team to improve the way we work, retain and build relationships with our partners, and accelerate our people plans. You will work highly cross-functionally with country management and various cross functional stakeholders to influence the continued growth of DoorDash Canada.You’re excited about this opportunity because… You’re a high achieving sales leader. You have built and executed pipeline strategies to maximize revenue. You coach front line leaders and lean on your customer obsession to regularly meet with prospects, both to understand and resolve their individual pain points and to create system-wide solutions. You’re accustomed to complex and multi-stakeholder environments. This will include Mx and Sales Operations for goals and tracking, Finance for deals, S&O for team strategy, goal accountability and product feedback to name a few. Importantly, you embody our one team one fight mentality in partnering with our account owners across Canada who own the relationship with our restaurant partners. You are a great people leader. You are energized by building programs to develop and grow your people and their people, you take pride in making room at the table to improve low engagement teams, and you are accustomed to working with our people business partners to ensure we’re maximizing performance and engagement simultaneously.You find and lead 0 to 1 opportunities. We are constantly enhancing existing products and introducing new products to our suite of services. We are looking for someone who is accustomed to helping find product-market fit and scaling small businesses within large organizations. You cherish being an underdog. We are playing from behind in Canada and are looking for candidates who can deliver outsized results to our customers and our business with limited resourcing. A key input to this is building trust with our top restaurants and sitting on the same side of the table as them to map out strategies for mutual growth. We’re excited about you because… 10+ years of experience in sales / success / client services / strategy / business development / operations / analytics / consulting or related experience5+ years of experience managing a team to achieve personal and shared goalsExperience in a client-facing or account management / sales roleExperience in connecting team members across a larger mission and organizationExperience from either the restaurant industry, small or large business sales, or high-growth, early tech startup environments Nice To Haves: Bilingual (EN + FR) would be nice to havePrevious experience, working in or adjacent, the 3PD space in Canada would be a great asset (POS, Delivery, FoodTech, etc.) Prior experience working for a US-based/International company and familiarity with matrix organizations that cross borders would be helpful
