Accountable for ensuring that projects are delivered within key constraints, specifically “on-time and on-budget”, intended business value is realized, and partners are satisfied. To promote the practice of project management on both individual and enterprise levels while simultaneously supporting the objectives and processes of the Project Management Office.DIRECT REPORTS: Indirect Reports, Project Team MembersFINANCIAL: Managing the budget for capital projects up to $10,000,000+What you will be doing: Collaborate with business sponsors to establish project management structure for cross-functional, strategic initiatives and projects, including:Defining project vision and project charterDefining project objectives, scope, governance and results that support business goals; facilitate input and approval from senior management and partnersDefine meeting structureImplement tracking mechanismDevelop and lead execution of project work plan, mobilizing and motivating cross-functional team membersEstablish a project timeline and budget and hold cross-functional resources accountable for deliverySupport establishment of business case and proactively handle project budget to ensure the most effective use of company resourcesAnticipate and communicate possible risks to project work plan, scope, timeline and / or budget; identify and present a recommendation to realign the project to planIdentify, help resolve and advance as necessary, issues and conflicts within the project teamMaintain project scorecard; track and communicate project impact against measurable objectivesTrack project achievements and results, and communicate to appropriate partners tailoring message and vehicle appropriately for different audiencesIdentify interdependencies between projects and critically analyze project plans and decisions to support delivery of overall business objectivesConduct project post-implementation reviews and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Translate lessons learned into project plans and operating procedures going forwardBuild, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the projectPerform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group ULCHow you will succeed:4+ years of demonstrated project management experience, leading large scale and complex initiatives.University Degree in Business, Engineering, or another relevant field is an asset.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset.Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a collaborative mannerRelevant working experience in a retail environment; retail pharmacy preferred.Sound business and technical acuity, with ability to quickly become comfortable with unfamiliar businesses areas or of technologies.Good understanding of IT SDLC and retail business processesExperience developing, managing and tracking complex project budgetsStrong communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to summarize and present findings clearly and succinctly.Influencing skills, including ability to influence upwards and influence decision makingAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and ExcelAt Rexall, we are better together.
