Job Summary

Our client, a Quebec manufacturer, is a world leader in the design andmanufacture of vehicles that it distributes on all continents. Buildingon a tradition of ingenuity, passion and particular attention to itscustomers since many years, the company has embarked on the shifttowards electrification of its vehicles. Today BRP is looking for anmechatronical engineer to support her many projects.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • As a member of the engineering team, your main mandate will be tostudy, design and develop various electrical and mechatronic systemsfor a vehicle. You will also be responsible for:
  • Perform calculations, analyzes and validations of different partsand / or groups of parts of one or more systems;
  • Calibrate the mechatronics functions on the vehicles;
  • Develop control and diagnostic functions for electronic managementmodules;
  • Develop the specifications and specifications supporting tenders tosuppliers of electrical and electronic equipment;
  • Develop and execute test plans necessary to validate technicalsolutions while taking into account established standards and norms;
  • Guide the work of technicians / directors to meet developmentobjectives;
  • Collaborate with design, production, quality assurance andmanufacturing engineering teams;
  • Solve production and network issues and track them with suppliers.

Desired qualifications

  • You detain a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automatedproduction engineering or a specialization in mechatronics;
  • You have one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience;
  • You possess an understanding and ability to integrate electrical,electronic, software and mechanical principles with each other;
  • You master the integration of multiple vehicle mechatronicscomponents into one vehicle system
  • You have the ability to analyze and solve complex problems,creativity and ability to innovate;
  • You will be comfortable in an environment where technical solutionsare not known, where the path is not traced and with the use ofpredictive analysis methods;
  • You possess good organization skills, interpersonal skills, andautonomy;
  • You demonstrate strong interest in driving and designingrecreational & performance vehicles;
  • You have the ability to manage projects simultaneously;
  • You are available to travel occasionally.
