As the ideal candidate, you are an upbeat people-person who is a meticulous problem-solver with a knack for accuracy and maintaining financial integrity. Your analytical mindset will drive financial benchmarks and the preparation of comprehensive reporting. This Position Includes:Competitive salaryWelcome Gift Card to use at any BHC Venue50% off food, bottles of wine & sake for yourself + a guest at all BHC venuesLearning & Development AllowanceCell phone allowanceExtended health benefits with premiums paid for by BHC after 3 monthsRRSP matching program after 3 monthsShort Term & Long Term Disability coverage after 3 months3 weeks paid vacation + statutory holidaysPaid community volunteer timeAffordable manager housing may be availableWhat You'll Do:Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standardsSupport the CFO with financial planning and analysis activities including budgeting and forecasting, cash management, and corporate finance.Manage the organization's treasury function and day-to-day banking relationshipsEnsure compliance with all tax laws and regulations and oversee the preparation and submission of sales and excise tax filingsManage and optimize financial systems, processes, and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracyDevelop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with regulationsLead and mentor the finance team, ensuring their professional growth and development while maintaining high performance standardsAssist with special projects, including serving as the finance lead for system implementations, driving internal financial reporting enhancements, process improvements, and implementing consolidated reporting.Lead the company's cash management team, you support each individual in accomplishing their personal and business goalsBeing a leader in Banff Collective you are approachable to all BHCers alike.
