Assembler - Acheson Mayfair Lumber

-Assembles wood and wood products and stacks them for temporary storage. -Operates machinery often hydraulic, required for assembly. -Uses pallet binding machine to stack pallet orders. -Identifies common wood species. ie: Spruce, Pine & Fir -Perform quality checks on materials before and after final assembly. -Looks out for possible problems in equipment and materials. Brings more experienced colleagues to solve problems. -Ability to use work methods and techniques that ensure the product meets quality standards. -Ability to use work methods that avoid waste.
