MadWall takes pride in helping Job Seekers find full-time permanent positions with benefits as well as helping broaden work experiences.MadWall has immediate openings for Permanent Construction Designer / Estimator in Burlington.Start Date: 1-2 WeeksSalary: $50,000 - $70,000 / YearShiftMonday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PMResponsibilities - Construction Designer / EstimatorThe Construction Designer will work as a core member of our Estimating & Design Team.Identify the best materials to meet the performance requirements of our proprietary System.Keep the existing design library updated through collaboration with the Estimating/Design Department.Create new design library parts and assemblies for various Product Lines (non-proprietary).Model components and assemblies.Review customer requests for modifications to standard designs.Prepare proposals for our proprietary and non-proprietary product lines.Prepare proposal drawings for the Project Managers using AutoCAD/RevIt/SolidWorks for customer approval.Issue installation-ready drawings using the same programs.Create Bill of Materials using the same programs (as required).Revise drawings as required.Qualifications And SkillsExtensive knowledge and experience in AutoCAD/RevIt/SolidWorks.Construction experience required.Capable of working independently or in multidisciplinary teams.Understanding and communicating technical issues on design with internal stakeholders.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.Ability to read technical drawings.Excellent detailing skills.Good problem-solving and organizational skills.A high degree of personal initiative and excellent planning and organizational skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.MadWall Staffing Provided The Following Inclusive Hiring InformationWe are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
