Position OverviewCalian is inviting expression of interest from applicants for the role of a SITE MANAGER at various locations, for a future possible project with the government. This project is aimed at providing temporary accommodations for asylum claimants entering Canada. This is a Monday – Friday schedule, 8AM to 4PM on site opportunity.ResponsibilitiesDirecting resources, and facilitating the movement of asylum claimants arrivals to temporary accommodation sites;Coordinating and managing staff schedules;Ensuring efficient operations of site and by shifts;Overseeing the needs of asylum claimant arrivals onsite on a daily basis;Providing daily reporting, as required;Promoting and taking attendance at organized events;Reporting all incidents verbally immediately to the Project Authority, followed by a written report at the end of each shift;Ensuring required documentation is printed and available as requested;Monitoring and tracking the number of meals provided to asylum claimant arrivals from the hotel kitchen or third party; andLiaising with temporary accommodation site kitchen or caterer to ensure that the meals are in appropriate quantity and meet the standards of quality as set out by the Project Authority.QualificationsPost secondary educationA minimum of one year of work experience in a staff, operations and facility management is preferredEligible for Enhanced Reliability security clearanceIdeally worked in a Healthcare/Hospital setting or where the incumbent has worked with diverse set of people in the community is ideal. #J-18808-Ljbffr
