Position: Business Development Partner Type: Permanent, Full Time Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer The Position: As a pivotal member of Bromwich+Smith, the Business Development Partner will collaborate closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to spearhead partnership opportunities and amplify our brand's reach. This role is essential in connecting with an increasing number of Canadians to offer effective solutions for their debt challenges. The Business Development Partner will focus on driving revenue growth through the creation of strategic partnerships. Ability to travel throughout Alberta (Calgary & Edmonton). Key Accountabilities: Business to Business Development (B2B) Generate profitable growth for the firm through the development of a referral partnership network with a focus in Auto Finance. Identify, initiate and nurture relationships with strategic partners. Proactively manage key accounts ensuring values are aligned. Accountable to the organization’s KPI’s and driving business referrals. Education, Knowledge & Skills: Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience (or equivalent experience) in marketing, business development, auto finance, sales, or related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence others to act. Proven experience in public speaking, presenting and cold calling. Demonstrated experience collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve results. Experience with CRM software and maintenance of business development contacts. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects simultaneously. Ability to multi-task, self-direct, and manage time effectively. Strong computer literacy including intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Ability to work independently, work remotely, in office or hybrid. Ability to connect virtually or in person and drive growth with strategic partners. Job Specific Competencies: Proven record of achieving sales-based targets. Critical thinking to assess situations that require higher level intervention. Strong analytical skills when addressing situations to determine appropriate solution or outcome. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle and respond to different situations. Superior Customer Service skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Operates with high attention to detail to meet or exceed team goals. Accountability – takes personal ownership and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work commitment.
