IdAM System Administrator - Langley

TrustedQA (TQA) is seeking an Identity, Access, and Domain Management (IdAM) System Administrator for the Air Force DCGS program in Hampton, VA. The System Administrator (SA) will integrate, install, operate and maintain, and dispose of identity and authentication components of IT software and assets (i.e., Active Directory, Domain Name System, Group Policy Object, Domain Controllers, Web Servers, etc.). The SA will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues for Air Force DCGS Test and Operational Enterprises, resolving moderate to difficult technical issues. The SA will apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment, ensure accuracy of documentation for assigned enterprise changes, and conduct daily system checks of domain controllers to verify all vital services are running. The SA will monitor and sustain the health and integrity of the Enterprise Domain Controllers, Job Servers, Web Servers, and Recovery Manager for Active Directory Servers, and perform Active Directory administration and management to include forest updates, foundational data updates, backup/restoral, cleanup, and configuration. Position requires a TS/SCI clearance for consideration. We are interested in speaking to candidates with the following background: 3+ years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree Experience creating, modifying, maintaining, & deleting Group Policy Objects (GPOs) Experience managing internal and external Domain Name Service (DNS); modifying DNS records and Active Directory sites and services Experience providing Tier 3 troubleshooting for Active Directory and Replication issues. Pay Range: The target salary for this role is $83,279.09 USD – $96,673.03 USD; however, TQA considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
