Our cutting-edge technology allows us to successfully manage and execute projects of all scopes and scales.If you want your next professional experience to be one that helps you master new skills, build meaningful relationships, access limitless growth opportunities, and benefit our Ontario communities, consider joining us!Key ResponsibilitiesCreate CAD files illustrating survey as-built data to ensure quality and that it adheres to project requirements and tolerances.Complete sewer and watermain designs based on municipal and provincial standards Develop Site plans/concept plans for new property developments Create and prepare technical reportsField experience on construction sites, conducting general reviews for compliance with drawings and specifications and writing reportsUsing survey data and CAD software to calculate earthmoving quantities.Develop detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software based on project requirements and design specifications.Assist engineers, architects, and design teams in preparing and revising drawings, layouts, and schematics.Work closely with project teams to understand design concepts and translate concepts into technical drawings accurately.Ensure compliance with drafting standards, codes, and project guidelines in the creation of drawings and plans.Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and documentation related to construction projects.Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements before finalizing and distribution.Provide technical support and guidance to project teams regarding CAD software and drawing standards.Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to incorporate design changes and updates.Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly.Key Qualifications/RequirementsDiploma or certification in drafting, CAD, or a related field, an asset.0-3 years of experience as a CAD Operator, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Revit, or similar programs.Working knowledge in scanning-based software and utilizing point clouds for analysis, an asset.Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and design principles.Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on producing accurate and high-quality drawings.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.What Amico Can Offer You Competitive SalaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAt Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
