As we continue to grow our business and enhance our service offerings locally, we are eagerly seeking a highly motivated, technically competent, and entrepreneurially minded individual to lead our Water / Wastewater Infrastructure Team within Atlantic Canada. Your Work Environment In this role, you’ll have the choice of joining our Fredericton, Halifax, Moncton, or Saint John office, while also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid work model. Regardless of your physical location, you will have the ability to collaborate seamlessly with EXP’s multidisciplinary team from within the region and across the company on some of Atlantic Canada’s largest and most exciting infrastructure projects! If desired, you will also be given the opportunity to contribute to unique and challenging projects outside of Atlantic Canada as well. Your Role & Responsibilities Provide direction and leadership for all aspects of EXP’s Water / Wastewater Infrastructure team within Atlantic Canada including recruitment, business development, project execution, and staff development. Identify and implement strategic actions to further enhance EXP’s water / wastewater infrastructure service offerings and capabilities. Prepare technical proposals, offers of services, and quotes. Manage the execution of significant or strategic projects. Liaise with other discipline leads / project managers to coordinate resourcing needs. Nurture strong client relationships. Establish and regularly monitor performance targets. Undertake performance reviews and merit increase reviews for your team. Evaluate professional development and training needs of your team. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Meet regularly with other members of EXP’s Senior Leadership Team. Foster a safe and positive working culture. Promote collaboration amongst team members. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil or Mechanical). In-depth knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations. Established network of professional contacts within the water / wastewater field. 10+ years of relevant technical experience in the planning, design, and construction of water distribution systems (incl. storage, treatment, and booster stations) and wastewater collection systems (incl. lift stations and treatment). Professional designation (or eligibility) in NB and/or NS. Strong project management skills. Ability to problem solve by combining sound professional judgement, creativity, and innovation.
