This exciting opportunity for a Wastewater Treatment Operator is located in the vibrant community of Neepawa.What we can offer you:Competitive Wage Vacation in the first yearSecure, stable, and full-time employmentEmployee Referral program – Minimum of $500!Free ParkingCompany eventsAnd more!!!Your days will include:Treat and dispose of wastewater for safe return to the environmentOperate, monitor, and inspect treatment facilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilitiesRespond to emergency conditionsCollect and record operational dataPerform lab analysisInspect and report deficiencies in mechanical equipmentHandle hazardous materials while following SDS protocolsPrimarily day shift position with alternating weekendsTo succeed in this role, you must possess:Post-secondary education in Wastewater Treatment/Wastewater Collection, Operator-In-Training, Level 1 or greater is considered an asset Basic knowledge of lab and mechanical procedures, electrical diagnosis, and power distribution is an advantageAbility to perform routine maintenance and mathematical calculationsCapacity to identify abnormal operating conditionsAbility to collect, interpret, report, and analyze data within defined proceduresValid driver’s licenseAble to lift at least 50 lbs.
