We are seeking a Grade 7 English Language Arts and Middle School Options teacher who would start on November 18, 2024 and concludes on June 26, 2025. We are seeking a teacher who: builds strong rapport with students and creates a safe and caring learning environment; provides an engaging environment for students from a variety of backgrounds including at risk and educationally disengaged students; works collaboratively as part of an instructional team utilizing flexible groupings within and between classes; has foundational knowledge in teaching literacy skills; has a passion for working with an ethnically diverse group of students, including First Nations Metis and Inuit students; is an excellent written and verbal communicator; has knowledge of and can deliver primarily Middle School Humanities courses; is well organized and has ability to deliver a variety of courses to individual students; has experience teaching the most recent Alberta Middle School Curriculum. The successful candidate will possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. F.P.
