Independent Associate Optometrist

This opportunity is for the Moncton Region as we're looking for Associate Optometrists for our currently established practices. This is a partnership with Costco for an associate independent optometrist to work within the location as a business within a business. About Our Practice Great location in a great area! State of the art equipment. Looking to build a practice in a very successful Costco. Built in retail traffic. Turn-key operation with no upfront costs for equipment. Costco handles all furnishings and maintenance of equipment. Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye exams Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress Handle eye care emergencies Other eye care services as permitted under your Provincial Licensing A strong drive to grow your own business while working with the Optical Department Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree Valid provincial license to practice optometry Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities Excellent verbal and written communication skills A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills Whether you are looking for your first opportunity in eye care, or you’re an experienced optometrist looking to take the next step in your career, we look forward to welcoming you to our team!
