JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manages the transportation of all inbound raw materials required for production. From suppliers across North America to our breweries, inter-brewery and repack sites located throughout Canada. Main point of contact for all inbound material transportation inquiries and updates Monitors accessorial spend across different sites, including bulk detention and demurrage. Works with breweries to minimize material related disruptions to the production plan. Develops and manages relationship with transportation carriers across all lanes Tracks and reports out on KPIs daily, weekly, monthly and take initiatives for continuous improvement. Reduce cost escalations related to transportation through initiatives such as award carrier compliance and accessorial charge reduction Supports the implementation of transportation technologies such as TMS (BY/JDA), accessorial portal and Track and Trace. Develop plans to ensure compliance with Environment & Safety, HACCP, and Quality teams A diverse position that impacts stakeholders within brewery operations, supply chain logistics, and multiple external stakeholders Operates in a fast-paced environment and requires flexibility to deal with multiple, and sometimes, diverging priorities simultaneously. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: University degree preferably in Business, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent professional experience. Experience: 3-5 years Logistics experience in order execution, warehousing, transport, and logistics support. Proven leadership skills, with good business sense. Proven ability to manage interpersonal relationships through the reporting structure. Proven ability to achieve superior results. Ability to lead and develop talent in a changing environment. Proven experience in warehouse and transportation management.  Solid understanding of distribution and customer service, beer industry and all key cost drivers. Technical competencies: budget/financial management, analytical skills, business process design, change management, transportation, warehousing and proficient in computer office applications.
