OPENLANE provides state-of-the-art facilities and technologies to help dealers and consignors buy and sell used cars, trucks, RVs, boats, motorcycles and heavy equipment.Located in Kitchener , Ontario, OPENLANE Kitchener is one of ADESA Canada's 14 wholesale vehicle auctions that are located across Canada, and the employer of choice in the Canadian automotive remarketing industry.OPENLANE Kitchener has opportunities for Casual, Part-Time Transport Drivers, working up to 24 hours per week . This position will also assist in driving vehicles for our Sale Day which occurs on one Thursday every month from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. The ideal candidate is a well-organized team player with a clean Driver's Abstract. Familiarity with computers and mobile technology is required. If you love to drive, and thrive in a fast paced environment, this may be the right job for you! Responsibilities Drive vehicles to and from the auction. Drivers are required to report to OPENLANE in the morning and travel in a van with a lead driver to various dealerships to pick-up vehicles and deliver them to the auction. Represent the auction in a professional and efficient manner while providing excellent customer serviceMust be safety conscious and ensure that vehicle is road-worthy by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals & brakesAccurately complete relevant paperwork. Maintain contact with customers to ensure smooth transition of vehicle pick-ups and delivery.
