Job Summary Job Description What is the Opportunity? As part of the Data Protection team, you will be responsible for proactive identification and detection of threats / risks associated with databases assets. We are a team of security experts that are enthusiastic about solving complex problems and developing innovative security solutions. We engineer tailor-made detections that will reduce risk to our organization, employees, and clients. We are seeking a skilled Database Activity Monitoring specialist to strengthen our team and play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our databases. What will you do? Implement and manage database activity monitoring (DAM) solutions to track and analyze database user behavior. Monitor real-time database activity, identify anomalies, and promptly respond to potential security threats. Develop security policies to detect suspicious database activity. Work with application teams and data owners to identify potential database risks. Create and maintain documentation on technical processes and troubleshooting. Stay up to date if emerging threats and industry best practices to continually enhance DAM strategies. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Strong knowledge of database technologies, architecture & standard query language (SQL). Detailed knowledge of database systems, security protocols, and access controls. Ability to analyze and interpret database activity logs to identify potential security issues. Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written). Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. 2-5 years of cyber security or relevant experience Nice to have: Experience in implementing and managing database activity monitoring solutions. Professional Designation (e.g. CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, etc..) Proficiency in scripting or programming language for data visualization What's in it for you?
