Position Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 support, with a focus on troubleshooting issues for this client's internal users. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills along with some similar working experience. This candidate should have a technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with remote monitoring systems.****This is a 100% onsite position based out of Vancouver downtown****Key Responsibilities:Provide first-line technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in personDiagnose and troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues in Windows and macOS environmentsInstall, configure, and maintain desktop applications and hardwareSet up and configure new user accounts and equipmentManage and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolutionEscalate complex issues to Tier 2 support or appropriate team membersCreate and maintain documentation for support procedures and solutionsAssist with basic networking tasks (e.g., connecting devices to the network, troubleshooting connectivity issues)Provide basic training and guidance to end users as neededQualifications:1+ years of experience in an IT Support (Level 1) roleStrong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systemsExperience troubleshooting basic hardware issues (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers)Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and other productivity toolsKnowledge of remote monitoring systems is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompensation & benefits:This is a full-time and permanent position that includes a competitive base salary, extended health and dental benefits, and paid vacation, RRSP and Bonus.The interview process:A bit about myself - my name is Swarndeep Gill, and I am a recruitment consultant based in Vancouver, BC.
