Solutions Architect

This project aims to modernize and streamline health data systems by working together across several health departments and technology teams. The goal is to create a more efficient, integrated system for managing health data, known as Health System Intelligence (HSI) solutions or "clinical registries." Here's a simplified breakdown of what the project will do:Establish clear, standardized ways to define and organize health data that work across all health authorities.Design standardized tools for patient access, such as forms, questionnaires, and quality-of-life assessments.Improve how HSI systems connect and work with clinical systems used by health authorities (like Gerner or Meditech).Create common services for things like identifying patients and healthcare providers and integrating Ministry of Health data.Make it easier to access and use data for broader analytics and reporting, including integrating it with the provincial Health Data Platform.Build a shared technology platform to support future HSI solutions.The overall aim is to make health data management more unified, accessible, and useful across various healthcare programs.Specific Qualifications or Experience Required: 10+ years experience in strategic architect roles and nice to have 3+ years experience working within the BC Health Sector or any provincial or federal health sectortor at a senior levelAbility to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complexAbility to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks environmentStrong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsStrong English language verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts and topics in layman's terms to non-subject matter experts and build consensus and credibility among diverse stakeholder groupsAble to work expeditiously as an individual contributor and as a team memberAbility to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasksFamiliarity with PHSA Clinical Registries is an asset
