We are seeking a Individual Financial Services Coordinator to join our Coughlin team in Winnipeg .

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role and industry, as well as excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. The candidate should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to adapt to changing needs and priorities. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Senior Consultant, Individual Financial Services while playing a key role in business development.

The Individual Financial Services Coordinator will:

  • Manage schedules, including coordinating meetings and appointments, including virtual (video) appointments.
  • Respond in a timely manner to client email, phone, and mail correspondence, including managing the Consultants and the department’s general inbox and responding to emails as needed.
  • Request information and documentation from clients and ensure all incoming documents are in good order (i.e., cheques, faxes, emails, client paperwork)
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as drafting documents and presentations and conducting research.
  • Participate in Business Development activities such as researching potential clients and assisting with marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare client reports and account activities for client meetings.
  • Provide support to both the Consultant’s and clients’ day-to-day requests and other general office duties as required, such as telephone invoices & office expenses.
  • Manage all client documentation and ensure client document deficiencies promptly, efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in special projects/assignments; perform other duties as required

To be successful as a Individual Financial Services Coordinator with Coughlin & Associates, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with Bi-lingual highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in business development and client services
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of clients
  • Excellent problem-solving & decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Be a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Experience within the financial services industry is an asset.
  • • Successful completion of the LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) is a bonus
