Executive Director/ Head of School

Abbotsford Christian School is currently accepting applications for an Executive Director / Head of School for a 1.0 FTE position beginning September 1, 2025.The executive director is the chief administrator of Abbotsford Christian School (ACS) and is directly accountable to the ACS Board of Directors. As a visionary leader, the executive director advises the ACS Board on policy, decision-making, and long-range planning. Then, as a skilled administrator, they implement those policies, decisions, and plans, using the staff, community of volunteers, and financial resources available. The executive director models ACS' core values and beliefs with adherence to the ACS Community Standards, inspires innovative education, fosters an environment of team synergy, and operates as a servant leader. The executive director motivates, encourages, challenges, holds accountable, and empowers the ACS Leadership Team to be effective leaders in their own areas. The executive director demonstrates sensitivity, compassion, patience, honesty, and wisdom in all interactions with staff, students, parents, ACS Society members, and other individuals.
