Job Title: Commercial OfficerLocation: Halifax, NS, We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.What you’ll be doing:Supporting the Manager of Industrial & Technological Benefit (ITB) with the preparation, implementation and maintenance of the CSC (Canadian Surface Combatant) ITB Management and Offset Plans, subsidiary plans and deliverables.Supporting the Manager of ITB with the management of all aspects of BAE Systems’ Offset process & comply with contractual requirements.Translating offset objectives into action plans and ensure all offset commitments are achieved.Supporting the generation and provision of internal management briefings on offset status and help to generate external offset reports.Supporting the Manager of ITB to develop sources of ITB credits through discussions with government agencies, key suppliers, defence & marine industry associations, other business units within BAE Systems and Canadian industry.Supporting the Manager of ITB with communications internally and externally.Your skills and experiences:General knowledge of offset principles.Exceptional business acumen and understanding of business transactions (e.g. purchase orders, licensing, technology transfer etc.).Ability to develop innovative solutions to solve issues.You’ll receive benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, paid sick leave and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
