Job Requirement:Our client is a well-established law firm based in Langley, recognized for their comprehensive legal services. They are searching for a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join their corporate services division. This role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent multitasking and communication skills, with extensive experience and able to mentor and support the other junior and intermediate paralegals, and someone with experience handling complex tax reorganizations and trusts.Key Responsibilities:Drafting corporate legal documentation including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, corporate and tax reorganizations, various share transactions, extra provincial registrations, various types of dividend transactions, name changes, restorations, and other documents as requiredConducting minute book reviews and fixing deficiencies as requiredPreparing closing agendasCorresponding with lawyers and clients to receive and confirm instructionsMentoring, training, and coaching Corporate Services staff membersMentoring and shadowing junior and intermediate team membersPerforming other administrative duties as requiredWhat They Are Looking For:Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Paralegal in a busy corporate practiceA Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institutionProven mentorship and leadership skillsUnderstanding of BC Online, ALF, Outlook, and WordStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamInterest in mentoring and shadowing junior and intermediate team membersBenefits:A competitive base salary: $80,000 – $103,000.
