Reporting to the Director, Sustainability & ESG Disclosure, the Manager, Sustainability & ESG Disclosure will play an essential role in supporting our organization to ensure our ESG strategy and achievements are appropriately integrated, valued, disclosed, and understood by external stakeholders. This is a highly collaborative role, supporting leaders in Sustainability & ESG, Finance, Investor Relations, Accounting and Risk among others.  The successful candidate will be a professional with related experience in financial reporting, valuation, modeling, and project management, in addition to experience and interest in Sustainability and ESG. What You Get to Do: Lead or participate in internal cross-functional teams including groups such as Sustainability and ESG Analytics and Performance Reporting, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Risk, Government Relations to provide decision useful analysis, guidance and recommendations regarding: Appropriate integration of sustainability and ESG into risk management and strategy processes.  Decision useful quantification of Sustainability and ESG risk and opportunities, including financial modelling, valuation, forecasting and scenario analysis. Supporting or leading identified initiatives to prepare our organization for emerging mandatory financial requirements such as IFRS ISSB, including recommendation of prudent disclosure. ESG-related evaluation for new and existing projects to support strategy and capital allocation decisions.  Oversee Sustainability and ESG external disclosure and communications to effectively and efficiently translate achievements and management of sustainability risks and opportunities to stakeholders, including external investment and finance communities. Responsibilities include:  Creating a Sustainability & ESG external disclosure strategy including priority improvements and third-party rating sustainability rating strategy. Responsible for successful Project Management and completion of annual Sustainability and ESG reporting.  Supporting quarterly and annual ESG related disclosures included in other corporate disclosures including financial statements. Supporting leaders with sustainability/ESG related investor meetings, inquiries and presentations including development of key messages and speaking points.  Actively ensuring continued connection to industry leading practices by maintaining relationships with key contacts. Liaising with our corporate communication team, supporting external communication and internal communication of Sustainability and ESG as required. Who You Are:  You bring a minimum of - years of related experience in financial reporting or a related field with strong and demonstrable accounting and financial analysis experience coupled with a keen interest in Sustainability & ESG. Experience in financial valuation, forecasting and investor relations would be considered an asset. In addition, you have a minimum of years of experience successfully supervising or leading a team.  You have strong business acumen and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.  You have an undergraduate degree in commerce or business with a major in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. CFA/CPA professional designation preferred. Master’s degree would be considered an asset. Knowledge of sustainability standards/guidelines/issues would be an asset in addition to IFRS. Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to research and summarize complex information to make strategic recommendations.  Excellent planning, time management, project management, leadership and organizational skills. Strong communicator, with the ability to effectively research, analyze and succinctly summarize complex information to enable strategic decisions.
