The Ontario Soccer Board of Directors is comprised of twelve (12) Directors including a Chair and Vice-Chair, five (5) Regional Directors and five (5) Independent Directors, all elected by the Voting Members
recommended by the Nominations Committee.
The Board of Directors do not duplicate the role of Ontario Soccer senior administration; the CEO is responsible for the day-to-day business of Ontario Soccer and the implementation of strategy and policies adopted by the Board of Directors.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Note:Under Article 5 of Ontario Soccer By-law #1 Section (f)(iii) please note:
iii In order to be nominated for a position on the Board, nominations for individuals who will be elected as the Chair of the Board or Vice-Chair of the Board, when applicable, must be made by a Voting Member who is a Member in Good Standing and supported by at least two (2)other Voting Members who are a Members in Good Standing. Nominations for a RegionalDirector must be made by a Voting
Member who is a Member in Good Standing in the Regionthat the Director represents. Nominations
for an Independent Director may be made by anyVoting Member who is a Member in Good Standing.
Candidates may submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for only one (1) position on the Board of Directors.
Candidates must submit a COMPLETE EOI application package (forms can be found HERE ) consisting of the following first five (5) items to be eligible for a position on the Board:
- Appendix “A” Expression of Interest Form;
- Appendix “B” Completed Skills and Competency Form
- Brief two (2) pages (maximum) resume of your soccer/sporting and professional business background;
- References or endorsements from at least two (2) persons who are not related to you and have known you for at least five (5) years;
- Self-Identification Form (voluntary);
- A Police Record Check will be facilitated by Ontario Soccer when required

A confirmation email will be sent in response to confirm that a candidate’s EOI package has been received and is complete.
