Project Manager - AML On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Project Manager - AML. Project Manager - AML – Job Description Reporting to the Delivery Lead, Canadian AML Regulations (CAMLR) Program The Project Manager will help support with leading, planning, executing and monitoring the overall success of the CAMLR Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR) workstream/project The Project Manager will work will all relevant stakeholders, business and technology and possible 3rd party vendor, ensuring the triple constraints of scope, cost and time are adhered to as per EPMO, Risk PMO and CAMLR delivery governance, methodology and processes Accountability for the program's financial tracking and reporting, program health status reporting, change request management and risk/issue management & resolution is a shared responsibility with the CAMLR Program Manager Adhere to Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF) project management methodology by ensuring that recognized project management processes, discipline and controls are consistently applied to projects Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle Negotiate and issue project documentation as agreed to by the Delivery Lead and Project Leads(s) and Sponsor(s) with input from involved stakeholders and partners Assist with the identification of all project dependencies and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed and ensuring that mitigation and contingency plans are in place for identified risks Execute project management deliverables within budget and according to approved timelines, working with business partners to develop the content of those deliverables Assist with the management of all communication to key stakeholders, including the Project Sponsor and Business Project Owner, and ensure they are aware of significant changes to the project status in a timely manner Control change to project scope using accepted change processes and documentation Assist with the investigation, escalation of all project issues as well as ensuring proper escalation measures are communicated and used to resolve project issues/risk effectively. Investigate, escalate and ensure that all project issues are effectively resolved May chair Steering Committees or Project Management Team Working Meetings and Committees. Develops an understanding of the technical and business aspects of the project in order to effectively manage the project and resources Collaboratively works with the project team that consists of a variety of resources assigned (i.e. subject matter experts, business analyst, IT resources etc.) across all impacted stakeholder groups in a matrix environment Work with project team and impacted stakeholders in delivering end-to-end solution, and meet the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the various projects Timely and accurate status reporting, project change control, risk/issue management and escalation/resolution are essential May oversee business analysts, professional staff, vendors and/or consultants Project Manager - AML – Mandatory Skills 5 - 7+ years of Project Management experience Strong MS Project, Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio skills Previous experience in effective stakeholder management Understanding of/exposure to Financial Services Industry regulatory compliance particularly in Canada Highly motivated and organized individual with a proven track record to deliver results Strong customer service orientation and a professional approach; ability to interact appropriately with all levels within the organization Excellent project management, analytical and problem-resolution skills as well as consensus building skills High degree of organizational awareness Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to manage conflicting points of view Excellent communication skills (oral and written) a must Proven ability to develop good business relationships with internal partners and be able to work with minimal supervision in an unstructured and fast-paced environment Strong organizational, follow-up and priority-setting skills to handle multiple tasks/projects Ability to operate in an evolving, often ambiguous, matrixed environment Ability to remain flexible with shifting priorities Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced facilitation and presentation skills Ability to understand complex information and summarize in a clear, concise fashion Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management Project Manager - AML - Nice to Have Skills PMP certification AML experience Big 5 Bank Experience Project Manager - AML - Assignment Start Date ASAP – 12 months to start Project Manager - AML - Assignment Location Toronto, ON – Work Hybrid
