When it comes to guiding principles, safety is part of our DNA, we are committed to building and nurturing Indigenous relationships, we support our communities, and we recognize the importance of environmental stewardship.Our Ideal CandidateOur Ideal candidate has a deep understanding of engineering consulting (operations & technical), internal client strategy, experience in Bridge, Road, Infrastructure, Mining and/or field services projects and a proven background in leadership.We would be thrilled to find a person who…Has experience and passion to lead, grow and develop engineers, designers and techniciansHas meaningful & relevant experience in infrastructure and municipal projects (ideally roads, drainage, underground, linear infrastructure)Local connections across industriesHas a developed business acumenMaintains a supportive leadership style within their teamPrides themselves on their resourceful, “Let’s try” type attitudeEncourages all team members to pursue a better version of themselves.A Day in the Life Leading an established local engineering team, the Civil Group lead will collaborate, listen and learning from our greater Grande Prairie & Allnorth team to determine the best path forward for growth and sustainability.Additional key responsibilities includePersonnel Management, evaluation and recruitment of personnelActing as a technical expertManaging a team of engineers, designers and technicians, managing workload, prioritizing trainingManaging a variety of projects such as infrastructure upgrades and subdivision developments, including design and construction of water, sewer, drainage, and transportation infrastructureProvide technical guidance to a team of Professional Engineers, EITs and designers to deliver preliminary to detailed design drawings and specificationsCarry out estimates of project costs, analysis and calculations, design review, preparation of reports, proposals, and contract documentationMaintain and develop business relationships with current and potential clientsInterface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations to deliver projects across the Province / Country / North AmericaWorking with Civil Engineering (and other discipline) leads across Allnorth to further maintain and develop the practice at Allnorth to or beyond the industry standard.What You’ll Bring to the TeamBachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringMust be registered (or eligible to register) as a Professional Engineer (P.
