Successful candidates will be required to perform work within Ontario and must be available to work on campus, as required.This is a full-time temporary Support position until August 29, 2025 (35 hours per week).Duties: Reporting to the Dean, Faculty of Health, Community Studies and Public Safety, the Academic Services Consultant provides academic and services support in the execution of strategic initiatives that are aligned with the department’s business strategy, focusing on the planning, development, delivery and renewal of academic offerings and services.Qualifications:Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Business, Education or discipline related to the Faculty such as Health Sciences, Nursing, Community Studies, Human Services, or Public SafetyMinimum 5 years’ previous experience with the development of business plans, proposals and community relationship buildingAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredDemonstrated experience leading teams and monitoring resources and projectsExperience in an academic setting, such as teaching, working with Learning Management Systems, or curriculum development and design, is preferredStrong analytical, research and organizational skillsGeneral Information: While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory prior to any offer of employment.
