I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal region. Our team, experts in finance, speak your language and operate in your world. I am looking for a tax specialist, for my client in Montreal. This is a permanent position. Your responsibilities will be: - Prepare tax provision and corporate tax returns, including SR&ED forms and other tax credit claim forms - Prepare related tax forms such as: T106, T1134, T1135, T2054, T2057, NR4, T4A-NR, T5, GST/QST returns, etc. - Update calculations of various tax balances such as: protected income, surplus accounts, ACB, capital dividend account, etc. - Review commercial contracts to assess related tax risks. - Coordinate tax audits with tax authorities - Coordinate and follow up on instalment payments - Participate in the preparation of ad hoc transfer pricing documentation - Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations - Conduct research and analysis on key tax positions to properly manage associated tax risks - Collaborate with and support the tax team on business acquisition projects, tax planning and internal reorganizationsBilingual (French and English) Ability to manage multiple projects and respond confidently to urgent management requests Excellent knowledge of Microsoft, Excel and PowerPoint environments, as well as of the SAP system Strong analytical and communication skills High level of accuracy and sense of urgency
