We are excited to offer a full-time Vice President, North America role in our downtown Vancouver headquarters.

As an experienced, energetic leader, you will spearhead our expansion and growth across Canada and the USA. Your pivotal role includes executing our strategic direction, increasing revenue and profitability, and enhancing overall performance. You will lead the Vancouver team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, and building strong client relationships.

You’ll report to our Global CEO based in Brisbane, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Growth:
    • Implement sales and marketing strategies for profitable growth.
    • Oversee expansion into the U.S. market, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with executive leaders in Australia and globally.
  • Champion the talents of both the Vancouver and Brisbane offices.
  • Leadership and Culture:
    • Maintain and foster a culture of high performance, trust, and collaboration.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 40 Scouties in Vancouver, directly managing 6 senior leaders.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships to secure new business and grow existing accounts.
    • Personally engage with our top 20 accounts in North America.
  • Collaborate with our Finance team to oversee financial aspects, including forecasts and P&Ls.
  • Ensure financial targets and performance metrics are met.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure adherence to our proven Global "One Best Way" systems.
    • Maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in growing revenue and profitability in a business of comparable size and scale.
  • Experience in the recruitment, staffing, HR tech, or recruitment tech industry.
  • Strong sales and marketing experience to guide our North American arm toward ambitious growth and profitability goals.
  • Proven leadership in growing a business and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong understanding of the North American market, with experience selling to companies in the USA.
  • Passion for technology and innovation.
  • Hands-on leadership approach, willing to engage in sales meetings and client interactions.
